If you want to have collectibles sitting on your shelves of your favorite comic book characters as they appear in video games, Funko has you covered via their Pop! vinyl line. First, there was the Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite series (in the words of Hans Gruber, I have two myself), then came a small series inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series and in early 2018, they will both be joined by a Pop! vinyl series based on the popular free-to-play mobile brawler, Marvel: Contest of Champions. The line up will include:
- Punisher 2099
- Venompool
- King Groot
- Civil Warrior
- Guillotine
- Howard the Duck with a mech
Some of these collectible will be retailer exclusives: Punisher 2099 will be exclusive to Walgreens and there will be variants of Civil Warrior, Venompool and King Groot at Hot Topic, GameStop and target respectively. The line will arrive in February of next year.
