During E3, Limited Run Games announced that in the third quarter of 2019 they would be doing physical releases for both Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil on the Nintendo Switch. Both are of course the terrific Nightdive Studios remasters and will mark the first time that a Turok game has been pressed on a cart since 2002’s Turok: Evolution for the Game Boy Advance. At the time, a digital release wasn’t revealed for Turok 2, but that changed earlier this week when it was given a August 9th drop date for the Nintendo Switch. A week after Turok 2’s Switch release, Limited Run will start the pre-order for the physical carts for both Turok and its sequel. As the company’s namesake goes, if you want to relive the glory days of picking up Turok carts for a Nintendo platform like in the ’90’-s, you better act quick.
