Before Mortal Kombat 11 even came out last April, data miners had unearthed the information that Batman’s arch-nemesis The Joker and Todd McFarlane’s Spawn were coming to Mortal Kombat 11. A new trailer focusing on the game’s Kombat Pack not only confirms the duo, but also provides the first look at their in-game character models. Spawn looks like he’s ripped straight from the pages of the Image comic series, while The Joker seems to take inspiration from various incarnations of the character. A brief laugh can be heard when The Joker appears, teasing that voice performer Richard Epcar, who voices Joker in the Injustice games and also Raiden in the Mortal Kombat series, will return. Spawn and The Joker are joined by classic MK fighters Shang Tsung, Nightworld, and Sindel as well as The Terminator who uses the iconic likeness of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
