Announced to be coming to Marvel’s Avengers before the game even released, the original Hawkeye, Clint Barton, made his debut in the game during his protege’s addition to the roster in Operation: Kate Bishop – Taking AIM. For those who completed Kate’s mini-campaign, it left Clint’s fate up in the air but it won’t be too much longer until players can see what’s coming up for Hawkeye, and even control him too.
On February 16th, there will be another pre-recorded War Table event focused on Hawkeye’s playable introduction in Marvel’s Avengers. Not only that, it will also go into further details on the character’s Operation, Future Imperfect, that will see the hulking Maestro get added to the small roster of villain characters.
Originally expected to launch alongside the new consoles before suffering a delay, February’s War Table will also provide an update on the next-gen version of Marvel’s Avengers for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Of course for those who already own the game on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, a free upgrade path is available similar to Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC.
