In a panel at San Diego Comic-Con today hosted by Canada’s own Victor Lucas of Electric Playground fame, two new characters were announced for the upcoming Injustice 2. The first is a returning character from the original Injustice: Gods Among Us whose appearance is very special as they’re celebrating an important anniversary and is also getting her first feature film next year. The character of course is Wonder Woman, who was jointly announced with a new comer to the Injustice stable of characters, Blue Beetle, specifically the new interpretation of the character whose secret identity is Jaime Reyes.

On the official Injustice Twitter account, it was also explained how Supergirl fits into the sequel having been absent in the events of the first game:
