TUROK 1 AND 2 ARRIVE ON PS4 ALONGSIDE CROSS-PLATFORM MULTIPLAYER WITH NINTENDO SWITCH

In a case of better late than never, both Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and its sequel, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, are now both available to download on the PlayStation 4 – they’ll also work just fine on the PlayStation 5 too. During the summer of last year, trophies for both games were leaked online signaling the duos arrival on Sony’s platform, so it was only a nail biting matter of time. Both remasters, again courtesy of the excellent Nightdive Studios, will support 4K on PlayStation 4 Pro and feature gyro controls for those who wish to utilize them.

But that’s not all! The Nintendo Switch version of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is finally getting its multiplayer suite added via a free update. Better still, players will be able to challenge PlayStation 4 users for Cerebral Bore dominance as it’s cross-compatible with the newly minted PlayStation versions.

Both Turok games came to the Xbox One series of platforms in 2016 and eventually arrived on the Nintendo Switch in 2019. In our review of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter on Switch we wrote:

Turok was a beloved game on the Nintendo 64, especially for early adopters of the console, and thanks to Nightdive Studios it’s now better than ever.”
