Revealed back in May with its voice cast confirmed in July, the trailer for the animated adaptation of Injustice: Gods Among Us was once exclusive to the home video release of Batman: The Long Halloween Part 2. Now the preview of the film, simply titled Injustice, has found its way online.

Based on the first game in the series and the companion comics by writer Tom Taylor and a rotating cast of artists, Injustice looks to tell the events that led up to 2013’s Gods Among Us. In the world of Injustice, a tragedy caused Superman to turn away from protecting to humanity to subjugating it, causing a division in the super powered community as the line between hero and villain is blurred to the point of invisibility. With an R rating, Injustice, it seems, won’t shy away from the horrific details.

Featuring a cast including Justin Hartley as Superman, Anson Mount as Batman, and Gillian Jacobs as Harley Quinn, you can look for Injustice when it arrives on blu ray and digital services on October 19th. You can watch the trailer for it below.
